The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go. -Dr. Seuss

Earlier this year I shared my love for books and the importance of reading for ones’ personal growth, entertainment, and mental health. I also shared the Tic Tac Toe as a challenge for you and your family to challenge yourselves to read some more.

As we approach the year, I want to share a new Good Reads Tic Tac Toe challenge for us all.  These are books that I’ve enjoyed and one specifically that is on my reading list for the new year since it recently resealed.  Just like last time, I’m including a brief description of each book.

All you need to do it is find a family member and/or a friend that will be up for a new challenge that will surely bring you both knowledge and joy.  Make each other accountable for this new experience. Follow the link to download the PDF document with your new Tic Tac Toe Reading Challenge and also a synopsis of each of the books on the challenge. Print the document and place it in a visible place where you will be reminded of the books and challenge yourself to finish the challenge. Make a game where the best reward will be personal satisfaction!

May the new year be filled with joy and love for you and your loved ones.

“Like me, I’m sure you have been touched by the videos of people applauding #healthworkers from their balconies, or the stories of people offering to do grocery shopping for older people in their community.

This amazing spirit of human solidarity must become even more infectious than the #coronavirus itself. Although we may have to be physically apart from each other for a while, we can come together in ways we never have before”- @drtedros #COVID19
We’re all in this together. And we can only succeed together.

I am happy and excited to enter a new decade of life! I want to freeze time. I know that for many it may cause you pain, thoughts of regrets, frustration and maybe sadness. Not me. I do reflect on the past but have learned to appreciate the present and embrace the future with joy. That learning process has not been easy, but it is part of who I am today.
Check out my recent post as I reflect on "freezing time"
