HEY THERE!
I'm just a girl from the small Enchanted Island in the Caribbean, Puerto Rico.
My name is Leila Díaz-Thamer, a Puerto Rican native, married to a loving and encouraging husband. I homeschool our two girls, I have published a Bilingual educational book along with the coloring book version, love to write, read, garden and keep up with fitness activities.
My goal is to inspire other families to live well, learn joyfully, and embrace the richness of a bilingual, nature-filled lifestyle.
I am a passionate bilingual homeschool mom dedicated to nurturing a happy, healthy, and balanced family life. Living at the intersection of two languages and cultures, I embrace the beauty of bilingualism as a powerful tool for learning and connection.
My days are filled with teaching my children at home, tending to our garden, and diving into books that inspire growth and wellness. Gardening isn’t just a hobby for me-it’s a way to connect with nature, grow nutritious food, and find moments of peace in a busy life. Reading fuels my curiosity and helps me discover new ideas about health, education, and mindful living.
Through this blog, I share practical tips, heartfelt stories, and little lessons from our homeschool journey and garden adventures.

The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just on the body, but the soul.

I love my parents. I would not be where I am if it was not because of them. It brings me joy watching them create memories with my kids.
02
That's what my husband and I call each other. Would not change it.
03
I am extremely proud of this title. After the struggles and miracles to become a mom, I am honored to hear this name.
04
B is for Bilingual was inspired by my love to my daughters, education, and the pursuit of breaking language barriers.
05
My brother is a gift to me. I have the privilege to count on him and also consider him a friend. We happen to share the love of nature and all things outdoor.

This is a title I take with special care. This is a selected group, and the ones who do call me Friend know that I am present for them no matter how far I might be.
